How to equip your woodworking shop for less than $1000
Hi! My name is Steve Ramsey.
I've spent the past decade teaching people how to get started with woodworking on my YouTube channel. After tens of millions of people have watched my videos I’ve seen one mistake repeated over and over. No matter if it’s a newbie woodworker or someone who’s built dozens of projects, most people overspend when it comes to equipping their shop with tools!
I’m not going to sugarcoat it: most likely you will need to spend some money to get started. It’s just not as much as you probably think. In fact, I want to show you how you can get the basic tools you need to build almost any project, for less than $1000.
Don’t make the same mistake
most people do
If you rush out on a spending spree to get tools, you will probably overspend and buy a bunch of stuff you don’t really need. And I know how easy it is to fall for all the gimmicks and features that the tool companies advertise.
With that, I’ve assembled a list of tools that are affordable, functional, don’t take up much space, and are all you need to build quality projects that stand the test of time.
You can get all of these tools brand new for under $1000. (You might even already own some of the tools on my list.)
This is my recommended list that will allow you to create a variety of projects from a coffee table to a curio cabinet. It’s the perfect list for a weekend woodworker.
They are simple, inexpensive, and best of all you can get them almost anywhere (I include links so you can go right ahead and get them).
Try them out for yourself...
